IRCC Issues 6,500 ITAs in Latest Express Entry Draw

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has sent out more Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system!

In the latest round, IRCC issued 6,500 ITAs in a French-proficiency category-based draw.

To qualify, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 428 and must have created their Express Entry profile before 4:41 PM UTC on February 10, 2025.

This is the fourth draw this month, following two Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws and one Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw earlier in February. In total, IRCC has issued 11,601 ITAs so far this month!

So far in 2025, Express Entry draws have mainly focused on CEC and PNP candidates as IRCC pushes to meet its 2025-2026 immigration targets.

The "In-Canada Focus" category under the 2025-2027 Immigration Levels Plan is facilitating landings for both CEC and PNP applicants. For 2025, this category is allocated 82,890 total admissions.
