What are the processes involved with an applicant traveling to Canada and the spouse with children joining her? Meanwhile for record purposes and clarity the spouse is not the biological father of the children and the union is that of a common law. The first relationship was a customary one. How do the applicant fill the form for Visa Application to state all these with no complications? Besides the spouse is part of the sponsor of the trip in terms of proof of funds

Common law relationships are recognised in Canada. But for it to be valid and recognized, you must provide evidence of staying together in a common law marriage for at least a year. To achieve this, provide evidence of paying bills together or having a joint account as a couple. As for the children, you must have a written document from the other parent of the children showing that they authorise you to travel with the children.
